4-Session Ceramics Course Cycle
4-Session Ceramics Course Cycle
A regular weekly creative gathering for adults in the company of clay.
In this course cycle, we dedicate ourselves to handbuilding—crafting exclusively by hand—allowing you to shape clay in the most direct and tactile way.
How we work: During the initial sessions, you will become familiar with core handbuilding techniques (pinch pot, coil, and slab building) by crafting functional pieces like bowls or mugs. From there, you have the freedom to explore your own creative ideas with our continuous guidance.
- Duration: 4 consecutive weeks (1 session / week).
- Group Size: Small groups (max 8 adults).
- Skill Level: Suitable for both beginners & advanced makers.
- Schedule Options: Choose between a 2-hour or 2.5-hour class duration based on your preference.

Turnaround Time & Storage
Turnaround Time & Storage
Ceramic pieces must dry slowly in a moisture-controlled environment to ensure even shrinkage and prevent cracks. This is followed by the first firing (bisque), glazing, and the second final firing.
- Completion Time: 4 to 6 weeks after your construction phase is completed (provided the kiln reaches full capacity).
- Notification & Storage: You will receive a notification as soon as your creations are ready. Due to limited space, finished items are stored for up to 20 days after notification.
- The Nature of Clay: Ceramics carries an element of unpredictability. Despite meticulous care, cracking or breaking during shrinkage and firings can occasionally occur.
