Enargilo Ceramics operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping and service experience (the "Services"). enargiloceramics.com is powered by the Shopify platform, which enables us to provide our Services to you.

The following terms and conditions, along with the policies referenced herein (these "Terms of Service" or "Terms"), outline your rights and obligations when using our Services (online store and physical studio).

Please read these Terms carefully, as they contain important information regarding your legal rights. By visiting, interacting with, making a purchase from, or booking a class with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use our Services.

SECTION 1 - ACCESS AND ACCOUNT By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority (18 years old) or that you have obtained the consent of your parent/guardian to use the Services. To use the Services (purchasing products or booking classes), you may be required to provide information such as your full name, email address, billing, and shipping details. You represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

SECTION 2 - PRODUCTS AND HANDMADE CREATIONS We have made every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, because our items are 100% handmade ceramics, minor variations in color, size, shape, or texture compared to the photographs may occur. These subtle differences are a natural characteristic of handmade ceramic art and are not considered defects. All product descriptions are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

SECTION 3 - ORDERS AND BOOKINGS When you place an order or book a class, you are making an offer to purchase. Enargilo Ceramics reserves the right to accept or decline your order/booking.

  • E-shop Products: For product purchases from the e-shop, consumers retain the legal right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days of receipt, as detailed in our [Return & Refund Policy].
  • Classes & Workshops: Seat reservations, cancellations, make-up sessions, and other class terms are governed exclusively by our [Cancellation Policy].

SECTION 4 - PRICES AND CHARGES All prices on our online platforms are displayed in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT. Prices and discounts are subject to change without notice. The prices charged are those in effect at the time the order is submitted. Product prices do not include shipping costs, which are calculated at checkout and detailed in the Shipping Policy.

SECTION 5 - GIFT CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Validity Period: Gift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and can be used for purchasing products or booking classes/workshops.
  • Class Booking Process & Availability:
    • Classes are conducted in small groups and bookings are subject to availability.
    • Bookings open at the start of each season, allowing you to select a schedule that suits you, provided seats are available.
    • Detailed information regarding class schedules, season launch dates, and monthly seat releases can be found on the respective product/service page.
  • Class Capacity & Priority List:
    • If there are no available seats in your preferred class, you may contact us via email or Instagram DM to be added to a priority list, and we will notify you as soon as a spot opens up.
    • If no classes are available during your desired period or out of season, the gift card balance can be redeemed for handmade ceramics within the 6-month validity period.
  • General Terms:
    • Gift cards can be redeemed online at enargiloceramics.com or directly at our physical studio.
    • If the total purchase/booking value is less than the gift card amount, the remaining balance remains available for future use within the 6-month period.
    • Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

SECTION 6 - SHIPPING AND DELIVERY Shipping terms, estimated delivery times, and Local Pickup options from our studio are governed by our [Shipping Policy].

SECTION 7 - PHYSICAL STUDIO SPECIFIC TERMS (STUDIO & CERAMICS)

  • Additional Charges & Registration:
    • Annual Registration (€5): For the Class Course (Кύκλος Μαθημάτων), a one-time registration fee (€5) applies upon your first participation (regardless of whether you have previously attended a Drop-in or Workshop) and includes a FREE personal ceramic tool set. Registration is NOT required for Single Classes (Drop-in) & Workshops.
    • Bulky Item Surcharge (+€10/item): Applies exceptionally to creations exceeding 25 cm in any dimension, due to the additional space required in the kiln.
  • Completion Time, Notification & Storage:
    • Completion Time: Items dry slowly under controlled humidity conditions to ensure uniform shrinkage and prevent cracking. This is followed by the 1st firing (bisque), glazing, and the 2nd final firing. Total completion time is 4 to 6 weeks from the date you complete your creations (once sufficient volume is gathered for kiln firing).
    • Notification & Storage: You will be notified as soon as your items are ready (via email, phone, or social media DM). Due to limited space, items are stored for up to 20 days from the date of confirmed notification. After 20 days, unclaimed items will be recycled or disposed of without compensation.
  • Nature of the Material & Kiln Disclaimer: Ceramics inherently involve unpredictable elements. Despite our utmost care, there is always a small risk of cracking or breakage during drying or firing. The studio bears no liability for accidental material failures.
  • Safety & Conduct Rules: Students and visitors must strictly follow all safety instructions provided by staff regarding equipment (wheels, tools, glazes) and keep the workspace clean.

SECTION 8 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY All content on enargiloceramics.com (texts, photographs, logos, designs, graphics) is the intellectual property of Enargilo Ceramics and is protected under relevant Greek and EU copyright laws. Any reproduction, republication, or modification of any material without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

SECTION 9 - THIRD-PARTY TOOLS AND LINKS We may provide access to third-party tools or links (such as payment gateways or the Shopify platform). You acknowledge that your use of these tools is "as is" and governed by the respective terms of those providers.

SECTION 10 - RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY enargiloceramics.com is hosted on the Shopify platform. Any purchases or bookings you make are directly with Enargilo Ceramics. Shopify provides the underlying technological infrastructure and is not responsible for sales or services rendered between you and Enargilo Ceramics.

SECTION 11 - PRIVACY POLICY & DATA PROTECTION (GDPR) The management and protection of your personal data are governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - EU 2016/679) and our website's [Privacy Policy].

SECTION 12 - USER COMMENTS AND SUBMISSIONS If you submit ideas, suggestions, or reviews to us, you grant us the right to use them to improve and promote our Services without any obligation to compensate you.

SECTION 13 - ERRORS AND INACCURACIES We reserve the right to correct typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in descriptions or pricing, and to cancel orders in the event of an obvious error in listed prices or availability, notifying the customer promptly and refunding any amounts paid.

SECTION 14 - PROHIBITED USES You are prohibited from using the site for unlawful purposes, violating intellectual property rights, transmitting malicious code (viruses/spam), or harassing our staff and users.

SECTION 15 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the maximum extent permitted by law, Enargilo Ceramics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or services.

SECTION 16 - GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with Greek Law and European Union law. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or transactions hereunder shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens, Greece.

SECTION 17 - ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION (ODR) In accordance with Directive 2013/11/EU, if you are a consumer within the EU, you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform for out-of-court settlements: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
